It’s coffee, music, and writing for me tonight, alright.
Warm cup on top of a plate while Miles Davis’ Yesterday’s plays.
In front of a computer screen draining me of my energy.
Stuck in a zone where my inner voice moans.
Thinking of some vivid words to describe him with…
I get frustrated say fuck it, and sip some of my coffee again.
Warm cup on top of a plate, while Miles Davis’ Yesterday’s plays.
In front of a computer screen, draining my of my energy.
A burst of ideas comes rushing towards me.
Typing and hitting these keys like they’ll release me of my suffering.
I’m wondering, as he’s wandering, as men do, Oh, “how sweet it is, to be loved by you.”
Oh Marvin, he always knows just what to stay.
And then again when I’m lost for words…
I’m just let Miles Davis’ Yesterday’s play.
